Assessment
Note to Team: The Refine Builders Assessment process is based on our capability to complete a job and the quality of the client. An assessment is an appointment the Project Manager attend to “get eyes” on the job, take pictures, take measurements and speak directly to the client. This helps us accurately assess the situation and quickly get the estimate scope and pricing together for the client.
Assessment
Receive a call or text from a client and ask them the following questions:
What do you need done?
When do you need it done?
What is your name, address, phone number and email address?
Schedule the assessment for 1 hour in your calendar if it falls under our capacity and time frame.
Add the client’s name, description, address, phone number and email in Monday under Assessment.
Arrive to the appointment early - bring a notebook, pen and tape measure (or laser).
Greet the client in a professional and friendly manner.
Ask the client to show you the project, listen to what they would like to do and address any issues you see with them.
Draw a quick sketch of the project and take measurements.
Take photos of the project
Let them know you’ll get an estimate back to them within 48 hours and close out the appointment.
Immediately, upload the sketch of measurements, pictures and describe in detail the project and any issues in Monday and change status to Estimate.
Schedule an hour within the next 48 hours to complete the Estimate.
